Arrest Made In Child Exploitation Case

In Johnston County, a major arrest has been made in a child exploitation case. Teddy David Bidwell III was arrested at his Garner residence after a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force led to the discovery of illicit material on his computer and phones. Authorities have charged Bidwell with eight counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, alongside drug-related offenses after finding suspected fentanyl on the premises. He is currently held at the Johnston County Detention Center with a bond set at $500,000. The community remains shaken as the investigation continues.
