Clinton Police Make Drug Bust
Two men from Sampson County are behind bars following a routine traffic stop by Clinton police. On the afternoon of October 31, Jeffrey Alan Bishop, 47, and Jeremy Carl Bishop, 49, faced serious drug charges after police discovered illicit substances in their vehicle. The search revealed 24.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 0.4 grams of what is believed to be Fentanyl. Charged with multiple felonies including possession with intent to manufacture and sell, Jeffrey’s bond is set at $25,000, while Jeremy, who was driving on a suspended license, faces a $40,000 bond.
