In a harrowing incident of road rage that unfolded on Interstate 40, authorities are currently on the hunt for a suspect who fired at a woman and her children. The event occurred Friday afternoon near the Clayton Bypass and NC 210, as reported by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. Fortunately, the woman and her children escaped unharmed. The suspect, believed to be driving an SUV, remains unidentified and at large. Law enforcement urges anyone with information to come forward to aid in the swift capture of the assailant to prevent further danger.
