In Johnston County, authorities are on the lookout for three suspects involved in a distressing robbery incident. Friday, Nov 8th at around 8:06 p.m., a 66-year-old woman was targeted just after shopping at a local Walmart in Smithfield. She was assisted by a man with her groceries, a gesture that took a dark turn when later, two other men approached her at her Four Oaks residence, feigning armed threat to steal her purse. The suspects fled, later using her credit cards in Benson, Selma and Smithfield. The woman sustained minor injuries.
