On November 19 at 2:36 pm, Lee Britt Williford, age 46 of Dunn escaped the Harnett County Detention facility. He was located and placed back into custody at 3:19 pm. Williford remains in custody at this time. Sheriff Wayne Coats has requested the SBI to investigate. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is also conducting an administrative internal Investigation for potential policy violations.
