Khiry Tayvon Reid, 34, of Fremont, was apprehended on February 21, following a search at a residential garage on Windsor Green Drive near Clayton. During the operation, officers uncovered a stolen 2020 Dodge Charger with a tampered VIN and various stolen auto parts. Reid faces multiple charges, including operating a chop shop, possession of stolen property, and altering vehicle identification numbers. Further charges include trafficking opium or heroin, felony possession of a controlled substance, and maintaining premises for illegal activities. The investigation highlights ongoing efforts to curtail vehicle theft and narcotics trafficking in the region.
