Law enforcement in Johnston County has successfully retrieved stolen property before the victims were even aware of the crime. In the early hours of April 5th, deputies responded to reports of a suspicious individual in South Hills subdivision. Christopher Gage Jackson, 24, of Garner, was apprehended with a ring and an iPhone amongst other items. A subsequent search revealed that two vehicles parked on Drew Drive and Zachary Way had been broken into. The owners confirmed the theft, and their belongings have since been returned. Jackson faces charges and is held on a $50,000 secured bond.
