Kenly Resident Behind Bars Following A Drug Investigation

A Kenly resident is now behind bars following a drug investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. Thirty-four-year-old Christopher Dominique Pearce was taken into custody on May 9 after agents executed a search warrant at his home on S. Alford Avenue. Authorities report that Pearce had been under surveillance for allegedly selling narcotics. During the arrest, investigators seized Oxycodone pills and crack cocaine from the property. Pearce faces six drug-related charges, including trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Johnston County Detention Center with bond set at $285,000.
