Clayton Police have identified Seth James Richardson, 35, as the suspect behind two armed robberies committed late last year. Richardson, of Redbud Drive, faces charges for robbing the Walgreens pharmacy on Clayton Boulevard on November 26, 2024, and the Wells Fargo bank on Executive Drive on December 13, 2024. He was apprehended by Rocky Mount officers after an attempted bank robbery ended in a motorcycle chase and crash. Police later discovered firearms and disguises at his Johnston County residence. Authorities from Raleigh and Rocky Mount are pursuing additional charges in connection to other robberies. Richardson remains hospitalized.
