A dramatic chase through Johnston County ended Monday afternoon when a stolen blue Kia crashed into a fuel truck on Wilson’s Mills Road. Deputies say the pursuit began near Selma on US 70 after the driver refused to stop. The car raced down an exit ramp, narrowly missing a pedestrian, before hitting a median and colliding with the truck carrying 1,300 gallons of diesel. Authorities report no injuries or fuel spill. Two suspects, a 21-year-old man and a 13-year-old passenger, fled on foot but were quickly apprehended near a convenience store. Both face multiple charges, including possession of stolen property and firearms.
