Two Teenagers Suffered Serious Injuries After Rollover Crash
Two teenagers suffered serious injuries after a violent rollover crash Friday night in Sampson County. The incident took place on High House Road in Clinton, where authorities say a Chevrolet Avalanche lost control during a turn, flipping the vehicle three times. Officials point to speeding and wet road conditions as factors in the crash. Investigators confirmed that neither the 17-year-old driver nor her 17-year-old passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time, resulting in both teens being ejected from the truck. Emergency crews transported the pair to Cape Fear Valley Hospital, where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.
