In a twist of events on Hockaday Road near Interstate 95, two pickups collided in a sharp turn earlier today. One of the vehicles was not just knocked off the road but also overturned after hitting a small tree. Remarkably, both drivers walked away unharmed. However, a passerby who stopped to help wasn’t as lucky, sustaining a minor injury from the broken glass. Thankfully, after quick treatment at the scene, the Good Samaritan was okay. State Highway Patrol alongside Four Oaks Fire and Johnston County EMS were quick to respond, ensuring the situation was under control and investigating the cause.
