Authorities in Johnston County have arrested Loretta Gail Baker, age 52, following a drug investigation in Four Oaks. Last week, deputies executed a search warrant at her Spring Lake Road residence, where they reportedly seized around 60 grams of methamphetamine and 2 grams of fentanyl. Although no one was home during the search, Baker was taken into custody the following day in Wayne County. She now faces multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for drug activity. Officials note that this same address was linked to a suspected fatal overdose earlier this year, intensifying the ongoing investigation.
