A 20-year-old woman, Jadayn Williams of Barbour Mill Road, has been arrested on a felony warrant for an alleged crime against nature involving a dog. Johnston County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest on April 15, following an investigation where authorities said they obtained video evidence of the act, reportedly committed around April 8 with a bulldog. In addition to the local charge, Williams was served with a fugitive grand theft warrant from Ohio. However, Ohio officials declined to extradite, leading to that charge being dropped. Williams remains in custody under a $5,000 secured bond as the case proceeds.
