On May 20, 2025, a coordinated operation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with North Carolina Probation resulted in an investigation concerning Julius Anthony Marcus Wright, born on November 28, 2006. During a search of his residence located at 23 River Stancil Lane in Lillington, Sheriff’s Deputies discovered the following items: 443 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, classified as a Schedule I controlled substance, 14 grams of marijuana, a Kilogram of cocaine, and a 5.56 caliber rifle. Wright was arrested and charged with the following charges;
1). Possession with intent to manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a schedule 1 Controlled substance.
2). Felony possession of cocaine
3). Trafficking in Cocaine
4). Possession of a firearm by a felon
Wright was given a $ 200,000 secured bond.
