FedEx Driver turns himself in

Arrested for Possession of Stolen Property and Cruelty to Animals

On July 7, 2024 the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a larceny of a K9.   The investigation revealed that on July 3, 2024 a FEDEX driver delivering packages in the area of US 421 S stole the K9, which was a French Bulldog named Tori.  The driver, identified as Kimani Joehon Marshall age 44 of Fayetteville, NC continued along his route.  Investigators believe that K-9 Tori died due to heat related issues as she traveled inside the FEDEX truck as temperatures were reportedly in the 90’s.    The remains of K9 Tori were recovered on July 10, 2024 off the roadway of Holy Mission Ln Lillington, NC.   Kimani Marshall surrendered himself to deputies on July 22, 2024 where he was charged with Larceny of as Dog,  Possession of Stolen Property and Cruelty to Animals and held in the Harnett County Detention Center on a $50,000 secured bond.
