High School Students in Altercation

Princeton Police are delving into a significant altercation that erupted among over a dozen high school students. The tumult unfolded Wednesday evening around 8:36 p.m. in the parking area of Bojangles located on N. Pearl Street. According to Police Chief Michael Smiley, the clash stemmed from a verbal spat between two students that escalated over a pickup truck dispute. The fracas involved around 14 teenagers from Princeton High, with some participants reportedly hurling chairs inside the restaurant. Authorities—including the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and State Highway Patrol—swiftly intervened to quell the chaos. Investigations are ongoing.
