A Johnston County man is facing a series of charges after deputies say he led them on a low-speed pursuit that finished at his own residence. Authorities report that Brent Allen Deans, 53, of Angier, failed to stop for deputies attempting a traffic stop along NC Highway 210 on the night of October 3. The slow-moving chase continued until Deans arrived home on Black Pine Lane. Deputies say he claimed not to have seen flashing blue lights or heard the siren. A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Deans was arrested and released on a $10,000 secured bond.
