In Johnston County, a late-night party took a violent turn early Sunday morning, leading to the hospitalization of a 22-year-old man. The incident occurred around 3:40 AM on Julio Lane. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a gathering of about 45 to 50 people escalated into chaos following a seemingly minor interaction. The victim, who had asked a girl for her phone number, was unexpectedly punched in the face by an unidentified male, sparking further violence as several others joined in. Authorities are still searching for the initial assailant, while the injured party is currently receiving medical care for a severe facial laceration.
