In a recent development in Johnston County, authorities have apprehended 50-year-old Christopher Ted Creech on charges of felony larceny and obtaining property by false pretense. Creech, a resident of Kenly, allegedly stole an air compressor valued at $1,800 from a relative and later sold it to an unsuspecting buyer. The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has successfully recovered the stolen item. Creech now faces serious legal charges as the investigation continues.
