Johnston County deputies made a significant recovery Friday afternoon. Responding to a report of suspicious activity in the 1000 block of Bizzell Grove Church Road, officers discovered a stolen excavator in a wooded area. Robert Manley Narron, 35, of Kenly, was found at the scene and now faces a felony charge for possession of stolen property. The excavator had been reported stolen in Orange County. Two other vehicles at the location were impounded. Narron, already facing charges from a January 13 arrest for allegedly stealing $4,000 in property, was held on a $10,000 bond.
