On Sunday February 16, 2025 at 2:54 pm, Harnett County deputies responded to the area of Dorman Road, Dunn NC to a reported gunshot victim. Upon arrival, deputies located Andrew Nathan Cobb, age 39 of Erwin inside a vehicle with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Cobb was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Investigators have obtained warrants on William Kirk Johnson, age 45 of Dunn, NC. Johnson was last seen leaving the scene in a dark in color SUV. Johnson is wanted on charges of Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, 2 counts of Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property and Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
