In Johnston County, a man finds himself on the wrong side of the law after reporting his truck stolen. 19-year-old Wyatt James Parker from Benson faced arrest on October 25th, charged with making a false report to police. This development comes after an intensive investigation by a sheriff’s detective, who discovered that Parker’s 2002 Chevrolet Silverado, allegedly stolen, was actually involved in an accident in Harnett County just days before the report. Parker, who was released on a $250 bond.
