David Isiah Blue, 31, is facing multiple charges following an attempted car theft at the former Motorcycle Madness building in Dunn. Police were alerted to the scene after the property owner discovered Blue driving a 1998 BMW inside the premises. Blue, identified by officers at a nearby gas station, allegedly aimed to steal four vehicles. Detective Benjamin M. Green charged him with breaking and entering, as well as several counts of attempted larceny. With his bail set at $150,000, Blue claimed indigency, and attorney Jesse Jones has been appointed to defend him. Blue, a repeat offender, also faces other charges related to a recent break-in.
