The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to assist in locating 54-year-old George Jerome Taylor. A missing endangered alert was issued for Taylor in June, and there are significant concerns for his well-being, according to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons.
Taylor was last seen in June at a residence in the 120 block of Orchard Crest Circle in Sanford, walking barefoot. He is described as a Black man with brown eyes, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 133 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, Taylor was wearing a black and white shirt, blue and white striped pants, and a gray toboggan, but was not wearing shoes. He also has multiple scars on the left side of his body. Anyone with information on Taylor’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact A. Laboy at the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office at 910-893-9111.
