Operation Tainted Candy Leads to 23 arrests
In Selma, a significant operation named “Operation Tainted Candy” has led to 23 arrests out of 26 charged individuals, following a 10-month undercover investigation into illicit drug sales. Those apprehended are involved in distributing substances like methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, and Fentanyl throughout the community. The Selma Police, supported by multiple law enforcement agencies, initiated arrests early Tuesday. Among the arrested were Jimmy and Tracy Jackson, taken from their home on Wood Street, and Ashley Jackson from Cypress Court. Antwan Monk was also detained while walking along Raiford Street. This crackdown highlights a concerted effort to curtail the local drug trade impacting community safety.
