In a swift resolution to a theft case in Johnston County, deputies have recovered a stolen trailer along with high-value landscaping equipment. On December 15, a security video revealed a Ram pickup stealing an $8,000 trailer packed with approximately $21,425 worth of commercial mowers and other equipment from North Tech Drive. The culprit, identified as 56-year-old Jamie Scott Joyner from Clayton, was arrested on January 14. The seized items were found at Joyner’s residence and have been returned to their rightful owner. Joyner faces charges of felony larceny, altering vehicle serial numbers, and property damage.
