Three Clayton High School Students Narrowly Escaped Death

In a incident in Wilson’s Mills, three Clayton High School students narrowly escaped death after a high-speed car crash early Tuesday morning. Authorities reported that the driver, a 15-year-old without a valid license, attempted to evade a police stop by accelerating over 100 mph. The chase ended disastrously when the young driver lost control on Strickland Road, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times and land 600 feet from the road. The 17-year-old passenger was ejected and is currently hospitalized, while another 15-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The police investigation is ongoing.
