Tragedy struck on the US 70 Flyover near US 301 in Selma this past Saturday. A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a rider in the afternoon. Authorities reported that the rider was traveling westbound when he failed to navigate a curve, causing him to veer off the road and collide with a guardrail. The impact ejected him from his motorcycle. The identity of the deceased has yet to be disclosed as the investigation by State Highway Patrol troopers continues.
