Two Kenly residents, Jaden Christian George and Kyle Michael McAuliff, have been arrested for allegedly robbing a convenience store near their home. The 21-year-old and 26-year-old are accused of holding up the Circle K at 402 S. Church Street early Friday morning. The store clerk was assaulted during the incident, suffering minor injuries, while cash and the clerk’s mobile phone were taken. Following a search warrant execution at their S. Alford Avenue residence, part of the stolen cash was recovered. The accused are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and other felonies, and are held without bond.
