Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a serious crash on Princeton Kenly Road near Hoss Road just after noon on Tuesday. Authorities report a Honda left the roadway while negotiating a curve and overturned in a nearby farm field. Both the driver and a passenger were ejected from the vehicle during the accident and suffered significant injuries. They were quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment. State Highway Patrol, Johnston County EMS, Kenly Fire Department, and the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office all responded as part of a coordinated rescue effort. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
