VanDyke Sentenced For The Murder Of His Infant Son
In Harnett County, Dustin James VanDyke has been sentenced to a minimum of 31 years for the tragic murder of his infant son. The child’s remains were found in a backyard, with an autopsy indicating blunt force trauma as the cause of death. VanDyke admitted guilt to second-degree murder and concealing the death. His cousin, Gracie Kaylene Riddle, will soon face sentencing for concealing the death, after serving over two years in jail. Riddle, also the infant’s mother, had previously agreed to testify against VanDyke but was ultimately not required to do so.
