Johnston County authorities arrested 34-year-old De’Seera Celeste Wilburn after a minor incident escalated at a local gas station. Wilburn, a Charlotte resident, was initially approached by deputies following a report from a store clerk at Murphy Express, where she allegedly over-pumped $22.06 worth of gas and left without settling the difference. During the investigation, officers discovered Wilburn had an active warrant from South Carolina for breach of trust with fraudulent intent involving a substantial sum. Following a background check, she faced additional charges including motor fuel larceny and resisting an officer. Wilburn is now held at the Johnston County Detention Center awaiting further proceedings.
