In a harrowing incident in Harnett County, a 20-year-old woman suffered severe burns after being attacked with gasoline and set on fire. The assault occurred while she was walking near NC 27 West and Barbecue Church Road. After being transported to Central Carolina Hospital by an unknown helper, she was moved to a burn center, currently listed in critical but stable condition. The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for the three suspects involved in this brutal crime.
