Fire Damages Home

In the early hours of Sunday, a fire devastated a residence in Sampson County, leaving it severely damaged. Firefighters, including crews from the Roseboro Fire Department, were called to the scene at 400 West North Street around 2:30 a.m. According to Roseboro Fire Chief Lee Coleman, the homeowners were not present as they were out of town. Chief Coleman also revealed a personal connection to the property, noting it was constructed by one of his relatives. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in this incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
