New Art Sculpture on Benson’s Main Street

Benson’s Main Street has just welcomed a new addition to its annual rotating art display. A 10-foot tall sculpture, titled “Jim’s Jumble Arch,” crafted by artist Jim Gallucci, now stands proudly next to the Mary Duncan Public Library. The unique metal arch, adorned with a cascade of jumbled letters, draws inspiration from popular word games, transforming a playful concept into a striking visual piece. This installation marks the third in the series, with the Benson Art Advisory Board selecting Gallucci’s work for its inventive connection to the literary environment of the library. Gallucci, a seasoned sculptor with over three decades in the field, continues to contribute to public art with his creative endeavors.
