The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has charged an Ohio man with criminal offenses. Christian Brooks Emory, 24, from Mt. Sterling, Ohio, was arrested on August 7. He faces two counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor, with the alleged incidents occurring in April 2024 while he was in the Selma area. Due to the victim’s minor status, no additional details have been disclosed.
Emory is being held on a $100,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
