Cycle North Carolina is set to launch a revamped route for its iconic 2024 “Mountains to Coast” tour, marking the 25th anniversary of this esteemed cycling event. From October 6-12, the ride will stretch from Spruce Pine to Ocean Isle Beach, with additional overnight stops in cities including Lenoir, Statesville, and Pittsboro. This year’s journey promises to offer participants a blend of breathtaking landscapes and local charm, as it weaves through scenic back roads. On October 10, approximately 900 cyclists are expected to converge on Benson, where they will enjoy a brief respite filled with local hospitality before pressing on. Participants have various registration options, accommodating those looking for the full experience or just a taste of the adventure.
