In a startling incident on Friday, a 53-year-old man narrowly avoided harm when his vehicle was targeted in a shooting on Interstate 95 near Selma. At approximately 7:20 PM, near the US 70 Exit, the man reported that a blue Chevrolet pickup began tailgating him aggressively. Shortly thereafter, an occupant of the pickup allegedly fired a gun towards his vehicle. Fortunately, the shot missed, and the man escaped unscathed. Authorities were alerted, but the suspect vehicle had fled the scene and remains unlocated. Investigations are ongoing as police seek further information and urge witnesses to come forward.
