Fugitive’s From Haywood County Caught

In a statement released by the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office three fugitives with one being a juvenile from Haywood County have been arrested.  Isaiah Rashun Speed was arrested in Detroit, Michigan by the Michigan State Police.  Isaiah Rashun Speed is wanted out of Harnett county on charges consisting of First degree Burglary, Robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, second degree kidnapping, felony possession of stolen motor vehicle, felony possession of stolen goods, assault inflicting serious injury, and assault with a deadly weapon. These charges stem from an investigation where the Harnett county sheriff’s office responded to a home invasion on Checkmate Court in Cameron on June 14th.  The investigation revealed that the occupants of the home were bound and tortured during the incident.  Isaiah Rashun Speed is being held in Detroit, Michigan until he can be extradited back to Harnett County where he will be served on these outstanding processes.  Also arrested in Orange County on the same charges was Christopher Jamal Richardson where he received a secured bond of $500,000 and is being held in the Orange County sheriff’s Office with additional unrelated charges and in Wake County the juvenile was arrested where he was transported and turned over to a nearby Juvenile Detention Center where he will be held on a secure custody order.  The investigation is active and on-going.
