Meth Dealer Convicted

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, a federal jury has convicted 34-year-old Tamarcus Shaquan Ellis of Goldsboro on multiple charges related to methamphetamine distribution. Ellis, who was the focus of a broader ATF operation targeting meth dealers in Goldsboro and Jacksonville, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, along with two counts of distributing five grams or more. The conviction, which could see Ellis facing a lifetime in prison, underscores a major victory in the fight against narcotics distribution. Sentencing is scheduled for December.
