Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest

In a recent enforcement operation in Smithfield, North Carolina, a routine traffic stop led to the apprehension of an out-of-state motorist for multiple serious offenses. Johnston County deputies conducted the stop after spotting a vehicle speeding at 85 mph on I-95. During the inspection, law enforcement noticed a visible Glock 9mm handgun, which upon further investigation was confirmed stolen in Georgia. The driver, 30-year-old Errol Baker Domnie from Covington, Georgia, was also discovered to be wanted in Pennsylvania for driving while impaired. Domnie is currently being held without bond, facing extradition and charges of felony possession of a stolen firearm.
