Drugs Found

Children removed

Three people were arrested on felony drug charges following a narcotics search warrant executed by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office STAR team and Narcotics Division. The warrant was carried out at an address in the 1700 block of Parkertown Road on Wednesday morning.  Agents discovered five different living quarters on the property, including two RVs and a barn. Approximately two grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found. Due to the property’s condition, the Town of Four Oaks building inspections responded, condemning the two RVs and declaring the barn unsafe.  Authorities reported that two children, ages 2 and 5, were removed from the address and placed in the custody of the Johnston County Department of Social Services.  Andrew Don Hammons, 38, of Parkertown Road, Four Oaks, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $5,000 secured bond.  Kasey Marie Parker, 35, of Parkertown Road, Four Oaks, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on a $20,000 bond.  Samantha Kay Pate, 31, of Oliver’s Grove Road, Four Oaks, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held under a $10,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.
