A 41-year-old man from Benson was arrested following a search warrant executed on August 2 at his residence on Amy Lane. Brian Kevin Radford faces multiple charges, including maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony larceny, and possession of stolen property. The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office narcotics division had reportedly conducted undercover purchases at Radford’s address before obtaining the search warrant. During the search, agents confiscated 16 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 15 oxycodone pills, and various drug paraphernalia. Additionally, law enforcement recovered a Honda ATV, reported stolen on July 18 from a home in the Benson area. The ATV belonged to a North Carolina state trooper.
